The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego serve at-risk youth between the ages of six and eighteen and reaching out to young people in need. Our sole purpose is to better serve the 15,000 youth who are currently Club members in the Greater San Diego region. With a staff of 140 employees, we now operate eleven facilities, three public housing sites and three school-site programs throughout San Diego County.

VAM is a five agency collaborative effort to reduce teen pregnancy and fatherlessness. VAM matches "peer mentors," with groups of males and females between the ages of 10 and 18 in Mid-City, City Heights, and North Park. The mentors work with the groups to develop a "life vision" through group meetings, activities, and community involvement that promotes positive life choices.
