The Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater San Diego serve at-risk youth between the ages of six and eighteen and reaching out to young people in need. The North County Youth Career Network (NCYCN) offers a comprehensive system of youth development, workforce development, and academic innovation across the entire region of North San Diego County. The NCYCN supports both in-school and out-of-school youth ages 16-21, by providing students a customized menu of services that blends individual meetings with case managers, basic skill and career assessments, work readiness classes, youth development and special topic workshops, as well as social and cultural events. The overall goal of the North County Youth Career Network is for the youth to stay in school, continue their education, manage their life challenges, gain career oriented work experience, and start the path to realize their career goals.
