The Community Campership Council runs a year round Kids to Camp Program which provides financial assistance to families in the form of camperships to send deserving San Diego children to camp. Childre who qualify for the free/reduced lunch program may apply for one campership a year. Our goal is to make available a joyful learning experience in a natural setting for deserving children from diverse backgrounds; to expand their understanding of nature, of themselves and others, of the environment and the importance of conservation; to foster wonder, give hope and build confidence.
