Qualcomm Stadium is used as a major evacuation center for residents around the city of San Diego requiring refuge from the October 26 fire. Over 1000 people spent the night on October 26 and will continue to use the area as fires continue to burn. The Chargers' game against the Dolphins was moved to Tempe, Arizona.
