Walden Family Services has been in the community for over 28 years and other than the county child welfare system, is one of the largest providers of foster care in the community. They have an excellent reputation and established the first therapeutic foster care program in the state. They place developmentally disabled foster child, foster children with special medical needs and foster children with severe emotional/behavioral problems that other agencies won't accept.
