| The Urban Corps of San Diego provides paid job training and education for young adults ages 18-25. We help youth finish their high school diploma or if already a graduate, we assist is getting into college. The paid work experience is in the fields of conservation, recycling, and urban forestry. All the job skills are transferable (getting to work on time, how to handle supervisors, managing paychecks, etc). Upon completion of the Urban Corps program, youth are assisted in career development and placement. |
