Able-Disabled Advocacy (A-DA) is a nonprofit organization founded in 1975 that has provided occupational skills training and job placement assistance to over 6,500 people with all types of disabilities throughout San Diego County. SER provides services to out-of-school youth who reside in the North County (Inland & Coastal). The program works with youth who have dropped out of school or have completed high school/GED but need employment or educational assistance. Key services offered include career assessment, career exploration and educational activities. In addition, youth have access to a paid employment-readiness training program, paid internship and educational and occupational skills training.
