Mind Treasures mission is to provide financial literacy programs to the general public regardless of age, race or income level. Mind Treasures offers a unique curriculum (approved by the California Department of Education), that combines character development with financial literacy, in order to raise a financially independent generation. Program attendees learn to build a solid foundation in ‘saving, investing, sharing and spending’ by developing their key character traits such as patience, responsibility, moderation, thankfulness, selflessness, generosity and truthfulness. This development is complemented by learning the goal setting, decision making, borrowing and budgeting processes. Furthermore attendees learn various elements of interest, credit, basic taxes, retirement and much more.
